Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists

Exhibit Gallery

Several on-line exhibits are available. In many cases the items pictured have been exhibited at one of the past PAN Coin Shows. Other exhibits have been constructed especially for the PAN web site.

1. Pennsylvania Paper Money
2. Colonial Currency Signed by Adam Hubley of Lancaster, PA
3. Confederate Currency of 1864

Exhibit Judging Criteria

Competitive exhibits are judged according to the same criteria used by the American Numismatic Association. There are three judges, each of whom evaluates the exhibits using the ANA's 100-point Exhibit Judging Sheet

After reviewing the exhibits individually, the judges confer and decide on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

People's Choice

The People's Choice Award is decided by a simple ballot of votes by the general public viewing the exhibits at the show. Ballots are given to each attendee at the registration desk, and should be filled out and deposited in the ballot box in the exhibit area.

Prizes

Both shows are now competing and we offer great awards. Awards for the May show are presented at a Sunday AM breakfast at the show. Awards for the October show are presented at the annual banquet at the show.
