At the PAN Kid Zone (Fall 2008) we had a jar of foreign coins out and asked the kids to guess how many coins. The closest to the correct amount would receive all the coins. We actually had two who guessed exactly the same, and exactly the correct amount. The coins in the jar were split into two equal lots and we added extra coins to come up to the total amount guessed. |
Coins4Kids is PAN's coin club especially for new and young collectors of all ages. Held four times yearly at the PAN and Indiana Coin Club shows, each session features short talks about coin collecting, fun coin quizzes, a real coin auction, and lots of free coins, supplies and books. Hundreds of dollars worth of prizes are given out each time.
